What it costs to move a blog to Framer

There are three ways to get an existing blog into Framer, and the price runs from nothing to five figures. All prices below come from each provider’s own page, read between 26 and 28 October 2026. We make Blog Import, so weigh that.

Blog Import on the Framer Marketplace is the plugin this page refers to; your newest 25 posts import free.

First, the cost you pay whichever way you go: Framer itself, $10 a month on Basic (2 CMS collections, no redirects) or $30 on Pro (10 collections and redirects).

Way Price What you do What you get
Framer’s CSV Import, by hand Free Turn your posts into a CSV, map the columns Text and cover images; images inside posts stay linked to the old host, no redirects
An import plugin Blog Import: newest 25 posts free, then $29 for one project or $59 unlimited. Others: Squarespace Import $49 / $99, WP Sync from $12.99, Sillyweb Wp Sync free Run it on your export file or site Posts with images copied into Framer; redirects on Pro (depends on the plugin, see the comparison)
An agency Varies; one studio’s migration page starts at $10,000 Brief them The whole site rebuilt in Framer, design included

Which one makes sense

A few posts, no images worth keeping: CSV Import. Free, and fine for text.

A real blog you’re moving yourself: a plugin. The free 25 posts show you the result before you pay. For a Squarespace blog, Squarespace Import or Blog Import compares the two that read that export.

A blog you don’t want to touch: a designer or agency, or email us and we’ll see how we can help.

A whole site with custom pages, forms and design: an agency, or a freelancer from Framer’s Experts directory. The blog is usually a small part of that bill; some agencies run an import plugin for it, which is what our $59 unlimited license is for.

The cost people forget

The old platform keeps billing until you cancel, and you shouldn’t cancel until the new blog is checked: images load from Framer, a few old links redirect, the domain points at Framer. Budget a month of overlap.
